Part of the stigma of foam food containers is their supposed harm to the environment. Dart Container tried to change this perception by bringing environmental awareness to its consumers. Approximately 90 municpalities in Ontario were already recycling polystyrene, and in 2008, Toronto added foam cups and containers to the list of recyclable materials for its Blue Box program. This poster, featuring the Toronto skyline, alerted the city's residents of the new policy.
